College football is good the way it is. In the world today, option 2 sounds more practical. Everybody talks about how bad the officials are. In a normal game there are over 100 calls to be made or not made. I don't have a problem with 95% all the time. After the 8 million, it's another 1. We could spend a ton of money on the college instant replay or we could stick with the great officials that we have. That is an estimated 29 million dollars to equip all the stadiums with the necessary technology. There are 32 teams in the NFL and 117 division 1 college teams. 5 million to keep it running every year. If the instant replay was added to the college game, all it would do is be an added cost. I think in the last five years of watching bowl games, I might have seen one call that have changed the fate for a team. Some people may think that getting instant replay in college football is necessary.
