In this quotation it describes Heaven and Hell as states of the mind. An individual's life and feelings are what he makes of them. A person has the capability of taking actions to create or destroy his own happiness within his mind. A person's life is like a game of cards. Some people get a lucky hand and others a horrible hand; however, it is how they play the hand that determines the outcome. A person's life can be described as a game of cards. A person is given a life just like being dealt a hand of cards. In the game the individual may receive a good hand or a bad hand; the hand does not necessarily matter. Heaven will never be Hell, nor will Hell ever be capable of ever exemplifying somewhere as great as Heaven. When I first read this quote the first individual that came to mind is Mariah Carey. Or vise versa like to the devil Heaven is Hell to him. She was exhausted and needed a break. If the quotation is applies to everyday human life on earth it is very true. Unfortunately, one day he decides to shoplift or take that first puff of marijuana. This so called Heaven that she was living in was not such a Heaven for her. It is however all of the mind; it is how the individual views it. The person may have everything in the world going for them. " She never gets any breaks, is constantly on the run, and never has time for just herself. He sticks the game out, making each play cautiously, enabling him to win. If the person is dealt a bad hand, he may play it smart. This is where the individual takes their good hand of cards and makes a bad play.
