Why I Admire Aaliyah
A young talented New York born star ready to shine was named Aaliyah, and withthe help of her parents her voice matured vocally. Destined and being confident in all that she did, Aaliyah began singing in church and plays at school as well in advancing her career up by acting. Her positive image made her a role model to all because she was a hard-worker, very talented and intelligent. Many admire Aaliyah because she is a total package, and like her song she is “One in a Million”. Aaliyah was very intellectual and one hundred and ten percent was put into everything she accomplished. In addition, she excelled in her academics greatly by graduating from Detroit Fine and Performing Arts High School with a three point eight grade point average. Aaliyah was a perfectionist and she never gave up, and with God by her side she conquered everything essential in bettering her career. She has inspired young adolescents to surpass in school academically like she did, and to take life more serious. In fact, she sang in the choir at church, sang in school plays, and took vocal lessons to express her love in music. Aaliyah’s awards and success has showed how well prepared she was in following . . .
A dream slowly formed into a reality, and each day she was one step closer to her destiny. Additionally, in 1996 Aaliyah got a new production team and the she put her second album out One In A Million which sold one million copies and the single was a number one R&B hit. Aaliyah was only fifteen but her age did not stop her succeeding in what she did the best because she was committed and she had family supporting her. her one true dream in being a singer. Aaliyah was an angel and that is what she is remembered by today for her personality and her talents. Aaliyah’s name means “the highest, the best” in Arabic and that is what she was the best role model for anyone. My family is very important because without family a person really doesn’t have anything. With all her success Aaliyah never got big headed or cocky because she loved her fans and knew without them she would have not succeeded so far. Another thing people admired about Aaliyah is that she was very family orientated and no matter what she always had time for her family. Family had a huge a part in Aaliyah’s life, my family also plays a big part in my life. Singing to Aaliyah was like making sure you eat everyday, she needed singing in her life, I need dancing in my life just in the same way. Like it was said before Aaliyah was one in a million because we will never have or to replace, just the inspiring memories locked inside us. Aaliyah was a beautiful person inside as well as out and she had a positive aura about herself that people felt in her presence. I’m very thankful for God giving me a great family. Lastly she expanded her talent and try something new, which was appearing in three movies: Dr.
