Gamblin in Illinois
Gambling is currently illegal in Illinois. We should legalize gambling in Illinois because if we did it would increase the flow of the economy in Illinois. Since Illinois has been losing money to other states, gambling would regenerate funds that could be used in important places. For instance we could use that money to make flyers and broachers to attract tourism. Also, if gambling were legal then many tourists would flock to our state and that in turn would increase the number of jobs available to the public. That would cause more popular businesses or amusement to be attracted to our area and also increase the economy in the area. After all of the effects take place, the money flow in our state would increase making . . .
All of these factors combined would prove to be a great asset to our states economy and would further the possibility to increase it greater than it have ever been. If we were to legalize gambling in Illinois, tax revenue would increase. If we were to legalize gambling in Illinois, tax revenue would increase. We could also use this money to fix up our state. All of the new casinos that would spring up all over the state will increase the amount of visitors and vacationers. If gambling were legal more tourists and entertainment would spring up in our state. (“Are There Enough Jobs?” section 4). If we were to legalize gambling in Illinois then we could increase the amount of jobs available. If we were to legalize gambling, the openings available would double, making it a little easier to find a job. If we were to legalize gambling in Illinois then we would attract tourists, more jobs would be available, and tax revenue would increase. A recent NIU study showed that there are 68,645 jobs available right now and 285,459 job seekers. (Al Capone Pays for a New Church Roof? Np).
