Bill of Rights and Fourteenth Amendment essa
The American Government wants the people of the United States to believe that the Bill of rights and the fourteenth Amendment are a protection of the people. The Government, even though they have been brought to trial numerous times do to a failure to follow the amendments, still claim that they are still a protection. This could be true if we as the people look at it the other way, we may notice how much worse it could be. For example, if in a case where someone was searched illegally without a warrant and bombs were found on them and directions to a big corporation. Wouldn't we as people except this they are protecting us, yes the search was illegal but if they had not hundreds of innocent people would loose there family and friends in an instant. The government does make mistakes maybe searching someone without a warrant is wrong but if the necessity to search them at that time was great enough then yes they are protecting us. In all fact yes the bill of rights are a protection. One more thing the fourteenth amendment protects the people to if say Japan bombed us again under that amendment the government could not single out Japanese and hold them in camps. Yes, they did this before but it was out of fear. Say you had f
purse for the cigarettes she claimed not to have. The first amendment helps prove the bill of rights is a protection. The first amendment will protect your rights no doubt about it but when you talk of hurting others or something that could bring harm, "clear and Present danger" is what the government referred to it as then no the first amendment would not protect that. This protects are equal rights as citizens. O claimed she was illegally searched and that the evidence could not be used in court. For example say they did not search her and the list of names was people who owed her money. Back to the case the Government would still charge and convict Gitlow of this showing the Government does protect the people they don't bend the rules to harm the people yes they bend the rules to help the people. Her rights as a citizen were violated. BrOwn not given permission to go to school stops her from having an education this is wrong. our ferrets one of them bites you and you are rushed to get stitches wouldn't you hold the others or watch them more carefully even though they did not bite you. In All actuality the fourteenth amendment protects us without out that she would not have been educated for sure.
