I have just finished watching A patch of Blue the movie and the
             novel. There are alot similarities and differences in both the novel and
             In the Movie Selina goes to the park and meets Gordon because
             a caterpillar falls into her shirt and Gordon goes to help her. And she
             drops her beads, and he helps her. And after a short amount of time
             in getting to know Gordon , Selina decides to go with Gordon to his
             apartment, and to go grocery shopping. When Selina goes into
             Gordon's apartment, She meets his brother, Mark. While there in the
             apartment Selina finds a music box and begins to play it, When
             Gordon see's how much she likes it, he decides to give her the music
             box. While in the apartment she sees Gordon smoking and askes to
             try to smoke, Gordon lets her smoke. When they leave Gordon shows
             Selina, how to call him in the operator, and how to get to his house.
             Roseann see's Gordon, and tells Selina that she will not go to the park
             to see a black man. Selina, still goes to the park alone, and sees
             Gordon and Roseann and Ole Pa go to the park looking for her, and
             accuse Gordon of what he's done. But noone does anything, seeing that
             Selina, still wants to go with him. Gordon does not get beat up, and
             before anything, Selina knows that he was black all along. When they
             get to his apartment, he calls the people from the school, and send
