Steroids the Silent Killer

It is no secret that anabolic steroids have been used by athletes for decades, or that athletes will do anything to gain an edge in competition. Many athletes feel that they are pushed too far to reach the next level, that they must turn to an outside influence for help. Some think that anabolic steroids will give them an advantage. Anabolic steroids can not corrupt the user as long as they are not abused. Steroids have many dangerous side effects that plague both men and women, but steroids also effect each sex in unique ways. One study showed that rapists had excessively high testosterone levels, much higher than those found in other men. Scientists have found many advantages for steroids. This can be detrimental to the psychological development of the child. For some unknown reasons, steroids also seem to cause liver and kidney failure in both men and women. Steroids also have a negative effect on woman as well.
