Ambassador Ross' Speech: Peace in the Middle East

             Ambassador Ross began his speech by first addressing the topic of the War on Terrorism. Ambassador Ross believes that in order for America to overcome September 11th events, we must first understand that "terror" should not be taught or used in the battle over terrorism. Ross also feels that networking and leadership must take place. I agree with Ross's statement, that America must learn from past-specialized forces used in the act of terrorism. Ross believes that in order for the war on terrorism to be successfully won, these strategies must take place.
             After speaking on the topic of the war on terrorism in America, Ambassador Ross began his speech on the issue of peace between Israelians and Palestinians. Ross first began by saying that in order to negotiate peace in the Middle East, proper assistance must be provided. Ross also believes that those involved, must be ready for the psychological effects that will come about. Ross states that war can't be fought left after right and that there must be a line of separation between each country. Ross believes that the idea of peace not violence and terror should be each countries goal.
             Ambassador Ross ultimately believes that in order for there to be peace in the Middle East, peacemakers must go to these countries in order to prepare the public for changes about peace. The key to this solution as stated by Mr. Ross, is to reestablish negotiation based on faith and belief. Mr. Ross believes that the United States can ultimately provide the Middle East with new ideas and assistance in stopping violence in both countries.
             I agree with Ambassador Ross's ideas. Throughout his speech, I feel that Mr. Ross made a lot of great points. In his argument for a solution for peace in the Middle East, Mr. Ross was correct in his description.
