For me as an individual it was hard for me to really get in touch with this article and understand it, although I did get a lot out of it. I believe that this article is about how life is a craft and you are going to go through some rough times. It also says how you have to become in touch with your artwork to really understand it and make it your own. When working with art you can't think as much for if you do it could become altered.
             Craft can be looked at in many different meanings. The one meaning that really impressed me was how it is really about you. It is your life, how you live. It is mind, body, soul, and in general just your life. It can also be looked at from an artistic point of view. How you work with clay, wood, etc...
             Disillusion can be looked at as disappointment. It says that you are going to go through rough times in life, disappointing times. Disillusion is the first appearance in us of a different level of understanding. Disillusion is not a bad thing. It is a time where you are disappointed about your work your life and so on. It helps you reflect and come to a better understanding of it.
             I have quit a bit in common with this author. I have been in a state of disappointment. There have been times in my life when thinking has gotten in the way. Sometimes you just can't think about it you just have to react on it. For example I play hockey and at certain times if I think I could get really hurt. I also snowboard and if you think about it when you go over a jump you could get hurt because you get scared when you think about it. You just have to react and not think.
             The quiet is inside of you it is like your mind not working for the time being. There are many things that can bring one inner peace. To me I believe that self-gratification, for me as an individual playing good in hockey brings me inner peace. I think that is very important to have quiet. Without it you would be cons...
