Family and Marriage Attitude

Every different country has their own culture and tradition etc. Also, their attitudes to marriage and family are different as well, therefore in this essay; I am going to compare their differences and their changing of views.First of all, the attitude to marriage and family in Hong Kong has been changed a lot since the past 20 years. Long time ago, almost every woman stayed at home as a housewife after they get married and their husband go out to work and earn money for the family. And most of the people get married when they are quite young. Therefore

Also, women become more powerful in the family or in the society, for example, there are quite many famous person or mangers are women. But the family size are quite similar with Hong Kong, most of the families have 2 or 3 children. On the other hand, the family size become smaller recently, because parents think it is easier to teach their children and they could offer their children better, such as education and food. But recently, the situation has changed; most of the people prefer to get marry after 25 years old, because they could have better financial status and more mature mind. men are the most powerful person in the family, they make all the decision. Beside that, more women go out to work and earn money even they get married, in some case wife even earns more than husband. Long time ago, most of the families have 3 or 4 children, so some of the children might not had a chance to go to school or they didn't have enough food. However, there is a bit different of British to the attitude to marriage and family from the people in Hong Kong. Such as the British get marry earlier than the people in Hong Kong; also the divorce rate is higher than Hong Kong. Finally, I think the British care about the "family day" more than the people in Hong Kong, for example, they usually have a big lunch with their family on Sunday afternoon, but in Hong Kong, because many people are very busy even in the weekend, therefore they might not have a chance to have a meal with their family even once a week.
