Schindlers List
Oskar Schindler is a proud member of the Nazi Party who's only interest is himself. When war erupted he seized his opportunity to move to Nazi-occupied Poland to obtain Jewish investment, employ cheap Jewish slave labor and a Jewish accountant, Itzhak Stern, to establish an enamelware factory. Schindler gets the rich Jews from the ghetto to invest in the factory and he uses Jews to work for him since the
Working with Stern the two compile a list of 1100 workers. His angry outburst scared the poor girl out of his office, but a few days later she rejoiced when she saw her parents being escorted into his factory by Germans. These Jews are given over to Schindler who then starts ammunition factory that never produced a single fire able shell. Through the black market Schindler obtains numerous delicacies such as liquor and chocolate for the SS and German officers and sends them large gift baskets that place him on their good side. Schindler himself was apparently unaware of this fact until one day, a young Jewish woman went to ask Schindler to please hire her parents who were at a labor camp. He makes a deal with Amon Goeth to "buy" the Jews so that he can have them. The word quickly spread that in Schindler's factory nobody died. He was appalled by this request and fearful of what could happen to him. Schindler sees that the Jewish people needed his help and he gave that to them. The grateful Jews melt their gold fillings to create a ring, which they present as a gift to Schindler.
