             Located in south lake tahoe this large piece of water was created to provide fishing for anglers of all age's, this large piece of water is called hell hole.A hydroelectric that forms a 50,50 acre impoundment know as hell hole is ideal for trout fish and browns.The cold water discharges, reaching a high of 50 degrese from this lake. This gives the perfect setting for trout and insects in which they feed upon. The water temperature is fairly consistent all year so its good for trout fishing year around.This lake is filled with production brown trout that way up too 21 lbs and rainbow that grow up to be 14 lbs. Personally i think hell hole is the best brown trout and rainbow trout fishing in california.
