According to scientists, technology is advancing day by day, but in my opinion, it isn't. I think it has stayed the same since years. Everything is still the same, only the appearance is different. I still get the same errors on my screen. I often get very angry at computers because of these problems.
It is usually one of those days when you are finishing off typing you last sentence in your two-thousand word essay and suddenly a window pops up from nowhere saying 'Microsoft Word has encountered a serious problem and will have to shutdown. Any unsaved data will be lost.' All your thoughts for the next hour disappear, as now you have to type it again. There isn't much we can do, if we click 'okay' (which is the only option), all our work goes, and if we click the little cross on the top, then word closes down. Eventually, whatever we do, our work always goes, there is no way out. Although we know what we have to write, it is very irritating because after all, it is another two thousand words to type when all your friends are finished. When these things happen, I get really furious and bang on the keyboard. All those hours spent on the essay become of no use.
Nowadays, you get these memory cards or USB sticks in which you can store files. I bought one last year from a very trusted and good company. A few weeks ago, I had to hand in History coursework. This piece of work is very important and it counts towards your IGCSE exam grade. I had nearly finished my coursework; I just had a three point question left.
