My big step

             We all have been through different situations that have an influence in our life, sometimes in a good way, or sometimes in a bad way. Fortunately, moving out from my parents house was a big step, and brought me nothing but positives changes. Although it was hard at the beginning, I had a wonderful time, and it was a great experience, because it made me more responsible, now I know the special value of my family, plus I had the luck of meeting the best friends ever.
             First of all, I became a responsible and organized person. I remember my first days living apart from my parents, and sincerely, I was a total mess, but a few weeks later I learned how to run my new home. For example, I had to administrate my money very well, and save money for the rent and all kind of bills, such as telephone or cable. Also, I had to learn all the work of housewives, like cooking, which is the hardest thing in the world, or cleaning the house and doing laundry. All this responsibilities definitely made me grew up and understand that being housewife is harder than I though.
             Second of all, now I feel like I value more everything that my family do for me. Just like people say, "You don't know what you got, until you lost it". When I was living in my parent house I was always fighting with them and with my brothers because of stupid things, like money, permissions, or just because they say I talk too much in the phone, which I do, but since I moved out those fights are thing of the past. Also, I didn't notice all little things they do for me, for example, my mom never let me go to school without having breakfast, and my dad was always pushing me to have good grades. Those things used to bother me, but now I know they're not trying to bother me, they just worry about me.
