It all starts with the annoying sound of my morning alarm clock...buzzzzzz, buzzzzzz, 7buzzzzzz, buzzzzzz. It is at that moment, I know it is time to get going- it's time for school. I see the bright reflection of the sun, shinning vibrantly off of the egg shell colored garage through my sliding glass door causing my sensitive pupils to rapidly tighten. The pain! As I stand up, the only comfort I feel is the beige carpeting between my toes and padding my feet, as I groan my way to the echoing bathroom for my morning duties. As I search for the light switch in the bathroom, I feel the smooth wallpaper rubbing against my fingertips. Click... the soft glow of my bathroom light gently illuminates the otherwise dark section of my house. As I gently turn the left sink faucet, the running sink water is much unlike the soothing spinkles of a nearby waterfall. As I am waiting for the water to warm up, I pop the top off my orange can of shaving gel and apply the cold substance to my face. My three-bladed silver handled razor glides roughly over my newly whiskered face. With each stoke of the blade, I can feel the refreshing feeling (almost newly breathing) of newly exposed skin. It's like a deep breath on a cold winter day... so refreshing. A quick glimpse at my red LED clock reminds me that I am once again running late for school. As I rinse the brown whiskers and blue gel down the drain, my phone rings causing my heart to pound harder. "Hello?". " 'Morning Babe," my girlfriend replies as I am wiping my face off on to my blue terry cloth hand towel. After a quick taste of the soapy tasting Edge gel, my only response is "I'll be right there," as I replace the wet towel on top of the cold marble countertop.
