Everyone always says that when you meet that one person you are supposed to be with the rest of your life that you will know that they are the one the instant you meet him or her. For some of us that will never happen, but for the lucky people that it does happen to it is the greatest feeling in the world. Some of us may meet them when we are sixteen others may not meet theirs till they are sixty. That true love is out there you just have to be one of the lucky people to find it.
I was one of the lucky people. I met my match, and he was everything I had ever hoped for. His name was Hunter. The first time I ever saw him was 1998 and I was in the eighth grade and I had no idea who he was. He was fourteen and I was thirteen. I saw him at a drum line competition at my sister's high school. He was in the same drum line as one of my good friends. I was watching their show and he locked eyes with me and kept looking at me throughout the whole show. When they got off the floor I asked my friend whom he was. He did not know him very well and only knew that he was about my age and his name was Hunter. I never did get to speak to him that night because I could never find him.
I did not see Hunter for a few years. It was 2001 and another drum line competition came about. I was helping out their line and I saw him. Still not having the nerve to talk to him I just kind of looked at him for a while. I do not think that he ever really noticed that I was looking at him. That year I found out lots more about him. I learned that he went to Hendersonville High School. Which is about thirty minuets from Nashville where I lived. But, being the girl that I am I still could never bring myself to say anything to him. After that I was determined the next time I saw him that I was going to talk to him.
