Pregnancy is defined as the condition of being pregnant; pregnant is defined as containing unborn young within the body, both as stated in the Webster's Dictionary. There are nearly 23 million American children that do not live with their biological fathers and 40 percent of children with divorced parents have not seen their fathers in the past year.              Now, the effects of not having a father present in the home differ in some areas between men and women. Many women have a very low self-esteem and often have low school achievement. Most women will have promiscuous sex and interpersonal problems with romantic relationships.
