In this story I can see certain symbols and characters that play a big role adding a realistic mystery.
             Livvie is an example of how life should be celebrated and that everybody in life has a second chance.
             Livvie: The young girl who is under control of her husband all the time after her wedding and receive a second opportunity in life. Her name means (live, life) and this are a symbol in the story. Livvie is in the process of living a different lifestyle all alone and enjoy life opportunities.
             Solomon: He is and old man his name shows in the story what kind of person he is. Solomon was the kind of Israel and in Livvie Salomon is playing a Kind type role.
             The other room had the bright iron bed with the polished knobs like a throne, in which Solomon slept all day, Q. 4. He was good to her, but he kept her in the house. People said an old man did not want anybody in the world to ever find his wife, for fear they would steal her back from him, Q.1. Solomon has control over Livvie and this is a sign of control.
             Miss Baby Marie: She gave a little light in the story she was a call in Livvie life to have a second opportunity
             Cash: Is the second opportunity that Livvie has available. If he had not appeared the way he did appear that day she would never have looked so closely at him, but the time people come makes a difference, Q. 56.
             The time plays an important part in the story it is in the spring around Easter and Easter means rebirth.
