Buzz, buzz, buzz, boy I wish he would turn that alarm off, it's just so not a pleasant way to wake up. My master does some silly things. Well I do have to go to the bathroom, so I should get up. I can't wait to see what other animals entered my yard last night as I slept. Sniff, sniff... Seems as if the rabbits were around again, let me follow their trail, boy would I like to catch one of them. Hey that's my neck you're pulling on. Every time I get hot on the trail this guy wants to mess it all up. Every day I catch the same scent trail and every day this guy is pulling my neck off. You think he would learn after three and a half years that I want to take off through the woods and catch those rabbits. They call him the master, I love him, but between us he's not too bright.
Anyhow, now that I have gotten the morning business taken care of. It's time for breakfast, umm, umm, good. What will he be serving me on this fine morning? Wellness Healthy Dog Treats, again. Don't get me wrong I like them, but ever since he discovered my allergies it's been the same food every day. I may feel better, but I do long for the variety of the old way of eating, everything he serves now is routine. In addition to that now I only get four or five treats, I used to get seven or eight. I guess he believes that because they are three times the price of my old treats they fill me up three times as much. Not the case at all, help me out I'm starving over here. Bulldogs are known for their hearty appetites and I plan to keep it that way. Don't worry about me I know with a little begging he's good for one or two more. Just as I thought, got him, umm, umm, good.
Now that I have settled my raging hunger for the moment, let's see if he is in the mood to play. What toy should I bring? What kind of a morning is it, a ball, a stuffed cat, or maybe a stuffed Santa Clause. Yes, the stuffed Santa, it is...
