             King Arthur, commonly known as Wart back before he was King, was raised by a foster father, Sir Ector. He came to live with Sir Ector because of circumstances with his parents. Merlin knew that Arthur would one day become King and needed to guide him through his childhood without him knowing who he really was. Because Arthur did not know he was a prince, he was more open minded and eager to learn from his mentor, Merlin. Merlin turned him into various animals and sent him to learn about how they lived and operated. He learned the different types of ruling, how to be a fair leader, and how different animals regarded the human race. These teaching would later prove priceless in his kingship.
             Arthur became king by pulling out a sword that was stuck in anvil. He was surprised to learn that he was the heir to the throne and not just a lowly squire.
