In my travels through London, I've found that the city has grown quite a lot. The Industrial era is was a great time to be alive in my opinion. It was full of new opportunities, now people, and new ideas. During the Industrial era, the most visual change might be the different buildings that have gone up. A most peculiar one is the Crystal Palace, built by the rich upper-class folk of their time. It is an enormous structure and anyone who walks by it might mistake it for a china closet.
             A most important positive effect would be the modern inventions. During and a little after the Industrial era, there were some historical inventions created. The Cowpox vaccine was finally created in 1796. The telephone was invented in 1876 by Howard Bell, and the light bulb was invented in 1879. The X-ray machine, used to see inside of a body, was invented in 1895. These technological masterpieces may come to be useful in the coming years. Who knows?
             Another positive change in the Industrial era would be the industrial production. During the Industrial era, Britain became the world's leading industrial leader-in other words, it had more industry than all other countries combined. Cotton was the fastest growing crop of that time, and it was the greatest industry in Britain. The invention of the steam engine was a marvelous thing. In the first year of invention, 1830, there were approximately seventy miles of railroad track. In just fifty years, fifteen thousand miles of track had been laid down in Britain alone. The unfortunate thing about this production is that Britain became an industrial monopoly. It became so difficult for other countries to purchase machinery all at once because it was too expensive.
