THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE BOOK "TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD" AND THE MOVIE.
There are many differences between the book and the movie "To Kill A Mocking Bird". Some things that where in the book are not in the movie. Some things are just different. Some of them are that Calpurnia did not come and look for the kids at the court house, Mrs. Dubuses's death was not in the movie and the way that Tom Robinson was treated was different.
The first thing that was different is that they only showed Mrs. Dubose once in the movie. That was when Scout and Jem went to meet Atticus on his way home from work and she called Scout. In the movie they did not show when Jim tore up her garden. They also didn't show when Jim had to read to her. Her death wasn't even in the movie. They did not mention that she died in the movie.
The second thing that was different was when Calpurnia came to the court house to get the kids. In the movie they did not show that part. When Calpurnia came to get the kids from the court house. The movie also cut out the part where Calpurnia took the children to church and the women were mean to the children and also criticized them.
