Abortion

            Abortion is a very complex subject that can spawn many different questions and answers. I think abortion is right (not in the way that it is good) but, that it should be left up to that person whether or not they would like to have that child for the reasons of when a woman is raped, getting a second chance, and the fact that its that person's right to do what they will with their body.
             Sadly many women become victims of rape everyday and in many of these cases these women become pregnant. This type of thing is one where the woman may definitely not want to have the baby and with good reason many would agree. Let's say a young poverty strincken virgin teenage girl has been raped. She is forever traumatized by the event and still has nightmares about it. A few weeks later the girl comes to find out that she is pregnant. Here she is facing a situation that could affect her for the rest of her life. This situation is one where the bringing of life into this world could be more of a burden than a joy not to mention the thought that the child could come out with striking facial resemblance to the young girl's rapist. Why should she be forced to have the child she didn't ask for nor had she had any say in the conception of.
            
             Some say why can't she just have the child and give it up for adoption. Even in this case she is still forced to endure the long nine months of pregnancy and the pain of childbirth, and all of this for a child she doesn't even want assuming that she lives through the labor, which in some cases the mother and the child dies during childbirth. Now we have a young teenage girl dead along with a infant when the girl didn't want to have the child in the first place which all could have been avoided if she could have gotten the abortion that she wanted in the beginning.
            
             It has always been said that everybody deserves a second chance, but it seems that when it comes to abortion, second chances shouldn't ...
