Abortion

Some people think it's okay to have abortions. Other people think it's very wrong to kill your unborn child. The rest just doesn't even care what people do about their pregnancy. My opinion of abortions is that it depends on what the situation is. I am pro-choice
Some pros of abortions are getting raped, unwanted pregnancies, financial problems, birth defects, and being an AIDS or HIV victim.
Being raped and having a child of someone you fear and having to see the face of a baby you don't even know is hard to bare. Some people are just careless and not having protected sex. They don't want to face their family and be the person they disgrace. Financial problems are also an issue. As much as they want to have children and buy them all they need, its hard when there is no money. When women find out that their child might have a birth defect, they usually get an abortion. Having a child with a disability is a lot of work. Some women cant handle that kind of pressure. They think that having the abortion will save their child from misery and heartache if they get teased. A major thing is having a child with HIV or AIDS at birth. A child with HIV or AIDS wont probably live that long. The mother doesn't want to have their child to live a few years taking medication everyday with limitations on things they can and cant do.
Some cons on abortion are murder of the unborn child, against religion, and too expensive.
When you get an abortion just because of someone's careless action, it's like you're sacrificing someone elses' life for your own pleasure. Its not right to kill something so defenseless when you can just give the child a chance at life and give it up for adoption. Some people are really committed to their religion. If they have an abortion, they will be looked down upon many people.
