How to detail a car

Car maintenance should be important to every car owner. Cars cost a good amount of money these days, so they should be kept looking like they just rolled off the showroom floor. Detailing a car is an easy process that only takes about an hour or two out of the week and is sure to make the car look brand new. All that is needed for detailing a car are a few cleaning products. A hose, bucket, sponge, soap, tire shine, glass cleaner, chamois, chrome cleaner, leather conditioner, vacuum, wax, and cleaning pads are the necessities to truly cleaning a car. A clean car can make someone feel more confident and be sure to turn some heads while driving. Washing the exterior of the car, cleaning the interior, and waxing are three essential steps that go into detailing a car.
The exterior of the car is probably the most important job because it is what everyone sees. To begin detailing a car, it is necessary to have all the products. Start off by pouring soap into the bucket while filling it with water. Now it is time to wet the car with the hose being certain to get every panel wet. Next, dip the sponge into the bucket to get it soapy, and start to rub the car using a good amount of pressure. It is best to scrub in a circular fashion. After every inch of the car, including the wheels and tires, has been washed thoroughly, rinse all the soap off with the hose. Now, grab the chamois, and moisten it with warm water. Dry the car off with the chamois by gently rubbing the wet surfaces. It may be necessary to ring out the water from the chamois occasionally. After drying the car, use the tire shine by spraying it evenly on the sidewall of the tire. Tire shine makes the tires look really nice and shiny. The last touch is touching up the exhaust tips. For this step, apply a small amount of chrome cleaner to a clean rag, and rub the exhaust tips and muffler until the tips are clean. The exterior should now look gorgeous.
