New York University and Queensborough Community College are both excellent colleges. Both have exceptionally impressive faculty and have won numerous awards for academic achievements. However when you analyze the cost of schooling and the social life of the students who attend these schools, you realize how different the two schools really are. Although there are many differences between New York University and Queensborough Community College few similarities do tend to exist. Academically, many individuals study very similar subjects in both NYU and QCC, however, the social life and the cost of schooling differ dramatically.
             New York University, also known as NYU, is located in the heart of the city of Manhattan. Its name has really lived up to its potential over the years as the former students have graduated and have become some of the most successful businessmen in life. Furthermore, NYU has an immense diversity of academic programs ranging from the different sciences to business programs to performing arts. In "the city that never sleeps," there is always some event happening at all times. Also more then half the students at NYU live on campus which furthermore enhances the social life. With the hottest clubs right around the corner and the local bars down the block, it can be very easy to get distracted from schoolwork. There are parties on a daily basis waiting to capture young students in its temptation. Besides the parties and bars, there are many places to shop, to go sight seeing, and visit historical places. Because of the immense amount of stimulation from various different social locations many people apply and attend NYU.
