             Tom is a "sivilized" person who has read many books and attended school for years. These books contribute greatly to his complex schemes, because most of his ideas come right out of them. Huck is just learning how to read, so he has not yet had the privilege of learning all Tom has. Huck has also not attended school regularly so he lives in a fairly small world.
