Deviance
            
             There are many deviance in the world. Some things that
            
             would be considered deviant in one country might not be
            
             considered deviant in another. Some people are deviant on a
            
             daily basis because they like the attention. I, on the
            
             other hand, do not. A couple of weeks ago I did do
            
             something that would be considered deviant and sparked a
            
             few different responses.
            
             A couple of weeks ago, I was at South Hills Village
            
             outside of the movie theater. I decided that I would just
            
             lay on the sidewalk while I waited for the rest of my party
            
             to show up. I laid there for about half an hour. The main
            
             response that I got from people was just a look as they
            
             passes by that seemed to say, "What the heck are you
            
             doing."
            
             The most interesting response came from a couple of
            
             elderly men. When they approached me, they asked what I was
            
             doing. I said that I was just waiting. Instead of just
            
             proceeding on, they continued to badger me. One told me to
            
             get up and I responded by saying that I was all right where
            
             I was. After many attempts to get me to stand up verbally,
            
             he grabbed my arm and tried to pull me up. I told him not
            
             to touch me and I yanked my arm away. That did not get him
            
             to leave me alone. I told him that it wasn't any of his
            
             business and that he should leave me alone. He retorted by
            
             saying it was his business because I was "his brother." I
            
             couldn't help but laugh at that. I told him that I would
            
             get just because of that comment. After I got up, the two
            
             men left. After they were about twenty feet away, I laid
            
             back down.
            
             There were many spectators watching what had just
            
             occurred and found the whole event very funny. They were
            
             all laughing and commenting on how the elderly men
            
             overreacted. Others thought I was stupid for laying on the
            
             sidewalk that was inches from the street. That crowd
