It was May 18, the year 2001. I left school early since I was going to leave. My uncle said we will be driving 1876 miles till we reach our destination. He said it will take 2 days. We got on the interstate 10 east free way and, just after 30 minutes I was Already board. I still had another 48 hours left. I went to sleep and when I woke up we were half way out of Louisiana. Our plan was to sleep in Houston and El Paso then, make it to our final destination. We finally made it to Houston and went to sleep. Six hours later we woke up, ate breakfast and drove off. It was the same until we reached my home state. Sleep at El Paso, wake up 6 hours later, eat breakfast, sleep wake up then, sleep.
             When we reached the boarder the boarder patrol asked us to throw our fruits and vegetables away. I don't know why they asked us to. It was very different from my home state to the other ones. We would drive about 82 miles per hour and we were passing everyone up. At this state they were driving faster than us. The police were very strict to. I knew we were getting close because I saw a lot of cars and traffic.
             When we first reached the city it was about 10 P.M. From what I could see it was very nice. It looked like the buildings were just built. And the grass looked like it was just cut. The city was so clean. All the cars looked like they were brand new. I didn't see any cars older than me. All of them were no more than 5 years old. And when we got to the neighborhood it was very pretty. The houses were big and nice. All the grass was cut with no weeds in them. My house was very pretty. It was a two stories high. Everything was bigger than my other house. It also had a three car garage.
             I learned a lot of new things on my first day of school. When I first walked in I saw a lot of white people. At my other school there was only a few. Then I looked at their shoes and they were big and puffy. I never herd of a
