Sex predator

In my paper I will discuss why I believe predators are born and are not victims of their social environment. Upon my research I have come up with three points as to why I believe biological malfunctions surpass the environmental influence on such predators. My first point that I will argue is the biological theory which states hormones are connected to violent behavior. Next, I will discuss brain dysfunction as another determinant, and my final point of argument will be the psychological and emotional factors as determinates of predatory behavior. Although it would be hard to deny that the environment does play a role in the breeding of predators I will explain my position from a biological stand point.
One of the biological theories that are argued is called forced copulation threshold which is connected to neurological activities that are linked with the effects of sex hormones upon brain functioning (Source 1). There has been some research suggesting a positive relationship exists between levels of plasma testosterone and aggressive antisocial behavior in human males. The underlying assumption of this idea is that testosterone somehow acts as to cause aggressive behavior. A high level of testosterone can cause violence and aggression in many sexual predators. Rapists display specific attitudes and behavioral patterns of sexual arousal. They find coercion by violence to be sexually arousing rather than the act itself being stimulating. This sexual aggression could be linked to high levels of testosterone (Source1).
My second point of why I believe predators are biologically programmed and not born from the environment and its surroundings is brain dysfunction. It is believed that much of the violence in the streets as well as in the home, may be caused by less than optimal brain functioning. (Source 3). There have been repeated reports of high incidence of brain damage in violent offenders. Also, many prison inmates have been ...
