The beauty of life is the different interpretations by each individual. One may see something in a unique way while another sees it in a completely different light. Evil and good are part of life and seen differently by each person. Each person has different views of good and evil.
It can be expressed through many means, such as the television, books, magazines and many others. Arthur Millar, the author of The Crucible, interprets evil as a fact and part of life.
According to Arthur Millar, evil is part of life. It cannot be excused for and is done with a purpose. It can be found in anyone. A normal ordinary person could be evil. An evil person would commit an unmoral deed with the knowledge that it is evil. For example, in his book, The Crucible, many innocents are killed due to the evil of a few girls. These girls accuse many of witchcraft to avoid punishment and embarrassment. At a point, one of the girls, Mary Warren, knows it is wrong, but she still continues after she herself is accused of witchcraft. She, along with others, sends John Proctor and many others to their injustice death (Millar, n. pag.). Even in our period, there is evil occurring daily. It may not seem to be much but bullying is a form of evil. Ordinary people know it is wrong, yet they bully others to gain some sense of pleasure or to satisfy something. Most cases, people watch and do nothing knowing it is evil and wrong. Evil is part of life and everyone has some evilness within them, whether they admit it or not.
