Friendship between everyone is a very big deal in society, but can u trust them? Friends can be tricky, and you don't really know if they are your friend or not. It's their choice to be a friend and be trusted. In the short story "The Hunters of the Snow," it shows how friendship is viewed by a trio of guys.
             The story was about 3 men, going hunting and trying to have fun by a sport they all enjoy. As they are getting to the hunting grounds they have many problems with the weather. The truck they drove had a missing window and causing them to be extremely cold. They also argued a lot during the ride and actually during the story. They had many problems concerning Tub and his weight problem, Tub and his annoyance towards Kenny and Frank, and continuous bickering between them. When they got at the hunting grounds, they took so much time looking for deer and other animals to hunt, but didn't find anything. But when they figured out that this property was private and owned by someone, they went to the house to ask if they hunt on their property. They got the OK to hunt, but one thing that wasn't said by Kenny was that the owner asked him to shoot his dog because of how old it was and how it was dying. On the way of walking back to the fields, Kenny was fooling around and shot a tree, a bush, and then eventually the dog. When Tub was wondering why in the world he did that, Kenny was about to shoot Tub and so Tub shot him before he could. Well he gets injured badly in his abdomen and when they had to take him to the hospital; Frank and Tub were in the cab of the truck while Kenny was lying down in the bed of the truck. Well on the way they made some stops and in that time Frank and Tub had time to talk about problems and other things that needed to be worked out. So as they became friendlier and so Frank gave wrong directions to Tub, and so Kenny never makes it to the hospital and dies eventually.
