             With all of this, Descartes developed his own method of thinking. The method is known as the Cartesian Method. He bases his arguments all on doubt and reasoning. He begins doubting almost everything. He questions himself about religion and God. He wonders how all the stories in the bible can be true when there is no proof that any of these events had occurred. He had also wondered if God really existed. He made a point to himself to try and prove God's existence.
