When you were a child how many times you have heard your parents, close family members, or an adult say, "You need an education!" My parents often said, "education is one of the most important things you need to get in the world." Lots of random thoughts came across my mind like my appearance and how I would feel to have an education. Then I thought to my self. What is it to have an education?
             It took me a while, but I finally figured out what education meant. The whole time the answer was right under my finger nail. Education is simply to be educated on what ever it is you are doing. That can range from a several number of things. For example, you could be educated on cars and know exactly how they work, but if some one came along and ask you to paint it a certain way, you may be clueless or would not know where to start. Why is that? It is because you lack knowledge, or what is referred to as knowledge, education. Meaning, you do not know how to do or perform a certain act because you are not educated in that subject or area. Another example would be if you were to say he or she is highly educated in sports. Let's take baseball for example, and if I were to say, "My brother is educated in baseball," that could mean several things. It could mean he is a good pitcher when another person's opinion would be based on how accurate he hits the ball.
             Who ever said that being educated is based on school percentages and grade point averages? As I could remember going to high school and one of my pears forgot his note book, along with his homework assignment, which also was a group assignment. I, along with the other group members were pretty angry. Then out of no where one of my group partners said to the unprepared group member, "couldn't you at least be educated enough to bring your stuff!"
