Nature in Tintern Abbey

Nature is constantly reoccurring in poetry during the romantic period, especially in Wordsworth's poems. Wordsworth 's poem, Lines Composed a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey, shows nature in many different ways. How does the speaker describe nature to allow us to analyze his thoughts and perceptions? How is Wordsworth trying to show us that nature is not only physical but spiritual also, and how does Wordsworth's sister play a part with nature to make this poem what it is today? The speaker makes a statement like the ones in lines 68 through 69 that talk about his past experiences of the "deep rivers," "lonely streams," and large "mountains." Wordsworth goes the extra mile to allow us to see what his heart and soul is being touched by. In lines 86 through 93, the speaker talks about him losing something great, but gaining something even greater. Wordsworth begins to realize and understand the bonds of human beings and how not only we affect each other but outside forces also affect us.
Wordsworth conveys to the reader that nature is not only physical but also spiritual. By using the river in Wordsworth's poem and in turn using it to express his feelings and his emotions one can see the change from the physical side ...
