is area was much more diverse both economically and racially. Expensive condos and apartments are intertwined with transient hotels. Currency Exchanges and banks are present. Many yuppie types walk the street as well as what appeared to be underprivileged and/or homeless people. This area seems to be ideal for the person who would like to be near the Gold Cast, Streeterville, and Old Town areas without paying that premium. Location here is great because both Lakeshore Drive and highway 90 are near by. The Sandburg Village itself is an interesting piece of work. It is something that looked like it was designed to be modern for its time. I personally was unimpressed with it, but that is not why people live here anyways.
