ch an incredible phenomena is achievable. As scientists gain a better understanding of the world of physics, the concept of time travel becomes more and more a possibility. Once people to choose to accept the recent advances in physics, time travel will not only become a possibility, but a probability. Time Travel is possible, and with the right technology and funding, can be achieved.
Though The Time Machine was a fiction novel, there are undoubtedly nonfiction aspects of this book. As stated in the book,
"Clearly," the Time Traveler proceeded, "any real body must have extension in four directions: it must have Length, Breadth, Thickness, and – Duration. . . . There are really four dimensions, three. . . . of Space, and a fourth, Time."
-H.G. Wells, The Time Machine, 1895
Albert Einstein would use this concept of time being the fourth dimension only ten years later when coming up with groundbreaking revelations on the possibility of time travel. Up until Albert Einstein, the Newtonian world of physics (derived from Sir Isaac Newton's Laws of Physics) was the unchallenged method of explaining how objects moved and interacted. In Newton's world, time was a constant. One second would be measured as one second whether one was on earth, mars, stationary, or traveling at the speed of light. This concept is completely logical, and as far as most humans are concerned, it is perfect. But Newton's laws are not complete. Though only on the sub-atomic level, and off of Earth, Newton's laws can be disproved. But when problems are left unsolved, inevitably, people will want to solv
