             Mithraism Mithras was a Persian deity and was especially popular among the soldiers and merchants during the fourth century CE. They were converted to his faith as they traveled across the Empire. Some of the titles of Mithras included Lord of Light, God of Truth, Saviour from Death and Giver of Bliss. At the heart of the worship of Mithras was the ritual of killing a bull, this act signified a spiritual victory of life over death of good over evil.

They traded with Egyptians and with sailing ships. Knossos had a mansion built. This was where King Minos lived. Underneath the mansion was a labyrinth, this was where the Minator was. In about 1100 BCE mainland Greece took over Crete.
