Mating Is Not For Everyone

You know what pisses me off? The process of aproaching a girl is so so hard,
and when it finally pays off, it's not even worth it. You would think, well,
it's glory in heavens and all, but nay, it's just more trouble. How can
something so worthless come at such a high price? Tragically, of course I
know the answer. It's expensive and worthless for those not meant to have
it. We are a bloated species. In nature, living beings tend to keep their
numbers constant. We are exploding. Social animals like wolves elect just a
few to breed. In a wolf pack, there is just one female wolf laying down
pups, and only the alpha, eventually also the beta, father these pups. All
the others have the sole function of hunting to feed the pack. So that's
what I might have been designed to be. At most, an uncle. Maybe I should
look for some of my cousins and offer uncling some of my second cousins.
Soldiers can also fit that kind of role. They die so other members of the
pack can live and breed. Maybe I can find some metaphoric military role,
since I botched so spetacularly the literal military role I got. But even
the space cadet thing is losing it's gas. There is yet a third role, the
drone role. Well, the drone actually mates with the queen, so "worker" would
be the proper term. I've built buildings for a while so others could have
housing and breed. I can relate that to hive building. Actually, I used to
think about that when I was building. Most of the time I thought the
buildings were living monsters we lived to feed, though. Now, that also
sounds like worker bee or ant. They don't just build the hive walls, they
also feed the hive. None of them breed, neither the small workers, or the
huge soldiers. Just the queen, and the drones.
One would think wolves were so distant from ants. It's always a hive. Humans
are also a hive. We just didnt realize it properly yet. So we are all raised
             with high expecta...
