Stem cell research

Stem Cell Research (SCR) is a new beginning in many more cures for deadly diseases. It has cells that have the capacity to become any of the 200 cells in the human body. Stem cells are classified as an undifferentiated cell from which specialized cells are developed. Stem cells can help prevent or treat many diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and diseases of the nervous system such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's Disease. The question is Should SCR be funded or not? Is SCR a scientific breakthrough or is it a violation of human life?
I believe that SCR should be funded. California was one of the only states who did agree to fund it. There are many different types of reasons for funding SCR. I believe this research will help overcome many deadly illnesses in the future. I also believe that if SCR is funded the percentage of deaths will lower in all the possible illnesses this research can help prevent. If SCR does continue to be funded, I believe that they will discover more illnesses that can be cured by this research, which no one will ever get to see if it is not given a chance.
I believe that SCR is a scientific breakthrough. I believe this research will continue for many years and will have a positive outcome. For many years scientists have been looking for cures to many deadly diseases. Well these cells have the capacity to help cure those diseases. In 2000, Dr. Markus Grompe said that they were able to turn adult blood stem cells into liver cells in a mouse. Although it is almost impossible to predict the outcome of these experiments, many opinions will change as the years go by.
Stem cells have been around for as long as human beings have been on earth and all life evolved from a stem cell of some kind. It was not until the 1980's until more serious research was started and they started the growing of cells and since that time have been used in treatment in nearly 40 cancers, immune deficien...
