Health care has always been serving its purpose of doing whatever is best for the
             patient. Every patient has the right to good health care quality here in Canada. Yet
             patients do not have the right to choose their fate if it is suicidal, even though it is
             obvious the patient has no means of recovery and is only suffering more. These types of
             patients should be entitled to choose whether or not they want euthanasia. Allowing
             euthanasia is ethical to the patients, affirmative with multiple religious beliefs and
             beneficial to the patient and others.
             Legalizing euthanasia is more respectable to the patients requesting it. Without
             euthanasia as an alternative the sick and weary are only left with the option of
             committing suicide, this can include jumping out of a window, a viscous stabbing and so
             forth, all of which is extremely painful and traumatizing since the patient must force
             death upon him/herself. Presently animals are being treated with more dignity than
             humans when it comes to death, due to the fact that euthanasia is legal for them because it
             is seen as cruelty to keep a suffering animal alive. As well all doctors must take a
             Hippocratic Oath before getting their license to practice medicine, the oath itself
             specifically says, "I will follow that method of treatment which according to my ability and
             judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patient and abstain from whatever is harmful or
             mischievous " the purpose of euthanasia is too end harmful suffering and yet the majority of
             doctors go against euthanasia. To keep euthanasia illegal as it is right now is more hurtful to the
