Axis Powers is an alliance of countries that opposed the powers that allied in World War II.
             In March of 1941, Congress passed the Lend-Lease Act and made use of approximately seven billion dollars. The money was used to lend or lease weapons and other useful aid to any of the countries the president might want to give. In this way, the U.S. might have been able to win the war without utilizing its own troops. However, by late summer of 1941, Germany and the U.S. was in undeclared war, meaning the U.S. would need troops to support and fight the opposing Germans.
