             "Patriot" is possibly one of the most overused terms in the English language. The word patriot is thrown around, used to describe anyone with the slightest amount of contentment with their country. In this way, it can be compared to the word love, which is a term overused in our daily life. Love is pure. Human feelings are often times mistaken for love, such as feelings involving jealousy, infatuation, obsession, and craze. However, love is something that doesn't magically appear. It is developed, nurtured, growing endlessly. False love can fool some, however others are aware of the sacredness of real love.
             Patriotism is almost sacred. It is something that you cannot become without giving of yourself, your time, your attention and possibly, your life. You cannot love without giving of yourself. In the same sense, you cannot become a patriot without that same kind of giving.
