             The Random House unabridged dictionary defines ethnicity as ethnic traits, background, allegiance or association. On a date, I was once asked my ethnic background. My answer? I'm Scottish, Irish, German, English and Native American, an eclectic mix. My ancestors are from all over the globe. What box do I then pick when describing my race? White/Caucasian or Native American Indian? I'm both and much more. In general, I've associated myself with white since it's the color of my skin and how the general population would classify me.
             If polled by the National Census Bureau I would most likely be summarized as a Caucasian female, age 26 in the middle-income bracket. My age is easy to determine along with my gender and income bracket based off of my annual filed income taxes. Where do I fall within the other groups?
