             The issue of whether the sense of fatherhood is declining is important to each individual family and society in general. At one time fatherhood was the foundation of the family and the family in turn was the backbone of the country. In that time fathers were the leaders of the family, spiritually, socially, in values, and in the raising of kids (Rothman 99). Today, fathers have lost almost all that responsibility and actually due to cultural raising do not feel the need to take on any more responsibility as a father than the actual procreation.
