Getting Through College

When I enrolled in college, I thought about everything I needed to do in order for me to pass and move on to a four-year college. In order for me to do that, I have to study, stay focused and put all my classes as my first priority.
A few obstacles of mine in the past were not studying for tests and not completing all my work in time. I know I need to get good grades and hopefully make the Dean's list because another obstacle is that I want to get a scholarship. I also work at Shop Rite so I will need to manage my time well.
It didn't hit me until the first day of classes when I was actually there and all my assignments were given to me. Before school even started, I would say, "O.k., this will be easy to do." But until I got all my assignments and knew what needed to be done, I said to my self, "This wont be as easy as I thought it would be!"
After all that hit me, I sat and thought about what I did before and what I need to change in my life in order for me to achieve all of my goals. Being that school is my first priority, I would have to start managing my time wisely.
One obstacle I need to overcome is to take studying seriously. In the past I never really studied. I didn't really care much about my grades. Now that I do, I have to get into a habit of completing all my work and studying for my tests.
So now I just have to spend most if my time studying. It's going to be difficult, but if I stay focused, I know I'll be able to move on to a four-year college, knowing I can set goals for school and achieve every one of them.
