Although many factors contribute to the negative perception of how Toronto is viewed, we as a country cannot conclude that this city is a complete mess or wasteland. Toronto having been characterized and perceived as an area that is demanding, pretentious, obnoxious, wannabe New Yorkers, insular, rude, snobbish, arrogant, self-absorbed, pushy, superior, and uptight is a one sided outlook of the city. Although Toronto may have obtained a bad reputation around Canada, we must take into consideration how this city has become not only developed, but also beneficial for other people around the world. We can't base our conclusions just because of the large population of people who meet these negative characteristics because it is unjust for those who take pride in growing up in their city as a well raised civilized individual. Canada must overlook these unpleasant aspects and instead be appreciative of how Toronto has served the country and the world for many good and great purposes. For example, education opportunities here in Toronto are much greater and aren't as limited when compared to other parts of Canada. Many individuals from around the world decide to pursue their education here in Toronto because it offers good quality and stable schooling when compared to some areas in Canada. I find that my education as a high school student has really allowed me to expand my knowledge and provide me with a better entrance opportunity to a higher level of education in order to eventually reach my ultimate career goal. People raised here may be at one point be at the pit of immaturity, but the environmental influences as they grow in this city does make them come into realization which eventually results in a civilized, well mannered, and educated individual.
