For many the concept of love comes easy; you're born, you love, you die. For me love is not that simple at all. Love to me (in my unprofessional opinion) and infatuation is one in the same. Love is false feelings of affection and wonder towards a person, place or thing. Some would strongly disagree but others know where I'm coming from. They know the heart break that comes with male/female relationships. People know about how nothing hurts more than a friend's betrayal and a back stab from a family member. Who ever said "it is better to love and have love lost than to not have loved at all" is a stark raving fool.
Looking for someone to love of the opposite sex is a hard task, but when you do you know you it. When you first see "that" person your hearts starts racing. At that point the "relationship" is an infatuation. Currently I am infatuated with certain light skinned, green eyed creature in my summer school class. Oh my, the very sight of him makes my knees knock and the thought of him makes me sick to my stomach. I've always wanted to say something to him, but I always remember the past relationship and how they totally failed. "Nothing'll shut you up faster than past experience" is something my dad says, and now I know what he was talking about. Something that also comes from past relationships is wisdom. Women tend to make rules for their life and set boundaries when they've been wounded by the opposite sex. For an example of this tragically desperate attempt to regain control of ones life is myself. One of my many "rules" is: Never call a boy more than once a day. I know it seems simple but it's a control thing.
Speaking of control; when was the last time you heard of a person having control over who is in their family? Everyone has this odd notion (idea) that just because a person is in your family means you have to love them. I disagre...
