I'm writing about the battle at fort Sumter. The Confederates and the Union fought there during the civil war. The confederates attacked the union's fort for supplies and other goods. The battle was in Charleston, Virginia at fort Sumter in Charleston harbor. It was on April 12,1861 the first shot was at 4:30 A.M.
             Dear dairy, today I was sleeping when we were attacked. It was at 4:30 in the morning. Tons of people were yelling and screaming to get to their stations and get their guns. I just sat there for a while. I could not believe we were being attacked.
             Once I got up and got my gun I went to my station. There were many people dead in the fort. Since it was low tied it was easy for them to attack us. Luckily for us the tied was coming in. so we did not have to take this beating for long. But before I knew it they were inside taking over. My dairy was the only thing I could take when the took me as a prisoner.
             Dear dairy today was the day we attacked fort Sumter. It was the best plan ever. We waited in the woods then followed the tied out. Once we got up on the fort no one could see us it was about 4:25. We began shooting. My friend was the first one to shoot of a round.
             It was the loudest thing I ever heard because of being quiet for so long. After that every one started firing. Alls you could her was screams and people crying. Finally we got in at 2:30 the following day. We took all the supplies we needed and left. We took the rest of the living people as prisoners.
