Should abortion be legal or illegal? Many people argue about this. There are tow main sided of the abortion issue. One side is "pro-choice" and the other "pro-life". People who are pro-choice believe that a woman has every right to choose or to do what she likes. On the other hand, people who are pro-life believe that abortion is murder. The termination of a pregnancy, accompanied by or resulting in the death of a fetus is called abortion. Many people have strong views and opinions about abortion, both for and against. It is often based on religious and cultural beliefs. Looking at the facts and the statistical data regarding abortion, it can be said that abortion is not only immoral and cruel; it is murdering a human being- because a life is removed form its source.
The pro-life group believes that abortion brings a lot of problems and negative effects. The "pro-life" argument is that choosing to have sex is to accept responsibility for the consequences. But the unborn child has a right to live. So, a woman should take full responsibility.
The pro-choice people think that abortion is safer than childbirth, even though it involves bad complications. An abortion could be done if a woman gets stuck with the responsibility for caring for the child, or the unwanted pregnancy, and because of the father's irresponsibility and unavailability.
